| Bio: | And don't you forget it:     I am a TwentyEight year old SAHM to our boy-ohs William and Devlin and our sweet Cecilia and a birthmother to Daniel. John Daniel, our Ezra Alexander, was lovingly placed into a very open adoption. If you have any constructive comments or questions I beg you to come forward with them. I have a great amount of humility about the situation-or so I hope. Daniel has turned seven too soon. William is 6 and Cecilia is a whole 5 years now. Cecilia was born the day after my birthday at 114am. I expect to hear some sympathy for that... Really. I don't have my own birthday anymore. wah. I am finally married to my Alex after a long, tumultuous and rewarding road. Such is life. Our newest, Devlin Edan, was born on January 19th, 2005 weighing 8lbs2oz and measuring 20inches--until he unfurled at his 2 day appointment and somehow turned into 23 inches... heh Hunting down names for him proved challenging. My main requirement this time was that it be Gaelic or of Irish origin. Devlin is Gaelic for David which means, "Beloved of God," and Edan means, "fire/flame". So, "God's beloved fire". dern skippy Our children are what keep us going and help us see the world anew. For them, I am ever grateful as each is their own blessing. I love my husband whole heartedly. Alex is what keeps me on my toes most days and gets me to laugh at myself. I am a headstrong, firey, defensive woman--in other words I can be a twit... He aides me in looking inward and seeing the good in life. I wish that I could make HIM laugh more! You might catch me noting down a funny thing or two he has quipped from time to time. Laugh with me? We once again have two fur babies, Blinken aka Bink who is a vocal, lovey and white cat. His brother, Falcor, left us on February 2, 2006. We only wish that we could have him back with us but are glad that the suffering he was going through is over. We were unsure about finding another cat, but we somehow got blessed with a sweet, patient, loving boy. He is a white cat with tabby coloring in a sort of cow pattern if you will. Highly interesting to look into yellow eyes. Linus is a love who came with his own blanket and we adopted him from the Rescue House. It's a local adoption agency for kitties. Fittingly, it is where we got our two original boys when we were pregnant with Daniel. I really do believe Falcor was watching out for us when we found Linus. This journal is as I like it and if you don't... don't read it. hah. Not that I am mean or rude, but I do have mine own beliefs and they are mine to own. I don't want to be criticized because I AM conservative because I TRY to not torch anyone out there to boot. I am a Christian woman who welcomes people from all walks of life. I am a breastfeeding, baby wearing, cosleeping, no CIO Momma. I have a vegetable garden. I homeschool our 2 older children and the 3rd soaks up the information like a human sponge! We are a gluten-free household. I boycott Nestle and I welcome you to ask me, "WHY?". I love getting in discussions if both sides are willing to listen. I am willing to hear another viewpoint. I am not willing to get argumentative. I tend to get indulgent, digressive and rambley. For the most part this journal is day to day.
